INTODUCTION
 Disney has become one of the most astronomical media brands of all time
 The Walt Disney Company started as a journey between Walt Disney and his brother, Roy O. Disney
 both established a company called the Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio, which began on October 16th,
1923, in Hollywood, California
 A very skilled artist from a young age, Walt Disney drew cartoons for numerous publications and
became fascinated with animation
 moved to Los Angeles, sold a short film called Alice’s Wonderland
 the Disney brother cartoon studio produced more movies after release of Alice
 after Alice’s Wonderland, Disney introduced Mickey Mouse to the world
 there are many other characters such as Minnie Mouse & Donald Duck
 snow white and the seven dwarfs became popular that earned a lot of revenues
 Disney used the revenue from the film to invest in the manufacture of a new studio complex as big as 51 acres
in Burbank, California, where the current headquarters of Walt Disney's Studios that's located to this date
 It has developed into a holding company for all media and entertainment purposes, opening theme parks
worldwide beginning in 1955 and owning and handling dozens of companies in the '90s and 2000s
 Disney today holds and manages many big studios and well-known companies, including ABC, Pixar
Animation Studios, ESPN, Marvel Studios, and Lucasfilm. 
 The company continued to rise in fame and stayed strong until the death of its iconic founder, Walt Disney,
in 1966.
 Roy Disney took over the company's management and was a success by an executive team in 1971.
 the company took advantage of marketing opportunities, continued making feature films, and building
additional theme parks worldwide, including Disney's first international theme park, Tokyo Disneyland, in
1983.
 Disney Walt Company has developed into a holding company for all media and entertainment purposes,

Because of this, Disney currently has about 1.61 billion shares outstanding. With a share price of around

What began as a handful of animators making short children's cartoons is today one of the most iconic
companies in the world. Disney classic cartoons and feature old movies add up to some of the most well-

STRENGTH- Walt Disney has an enormously talented worker, and it invests heavily in practicing and progress. Most of its
workers consider working under Disney as their dream job and feel like living in a fairy tale. This makes them very loyal and
motivated to perform better in their career. Disney also takes responsibility solemnly. It takes a liable employee to make sure it’s a
safe place and fun experience for all people

WEAKNESS- Weakness is the next issue that is listed in the SWOT analysis of The Walt Disney Company. There is no
surprise that the Walt Disney experience is quite expensive. Therefore, not everyone can afford it. This leads customers to find a
cheaper way of entertainment for their families. There are fewer new characters and stories to create. This can give the opponents
an excellent opportunity to steal some ideas of the company’s market share by making and introducing new and different
characters.
OPPORTUNITIES- Due to its international fame, Disney can expand the company in other
countries. They are thinking of creating virtual theme parks and entertainment experiences online; that’s
now a trend due to the current restrictive situations worldwide because of the virus pandemic. Disney
should take advantage of the increase in multi-media work and consider more selections to increase
revenue. The new online trend in consumer actions allows it to build new income flow and create new
products.

THREATS- . New and cheaper products and entertainment provided by opponents can cause a loss
of revenue for the company. Other than that, new technologies manufactured by opponents could bring
severe threats to the company. Disney’s significant opponents of different sizes in numerous markets are
CBS, Sony, Comcast, Time Warner Inc., Fox, AMC Network, Universal Studios, Cedar Fair, Six Flags
Entertainment, and DC. The current global pandemic situation has brought many individuals losing their
jobs and income. Therefore, they will not buy non-important goods.

POLITICAL FACTOR- Since Walt Disney Company is in the entertainment business, the factors are
macro-environmental, changing the market trade and access to entertainment. In the internet,
entertainment, and amusement park industry, some crucial elements affect their management, which
applies to Walt Disney. These are more excellent intellectual property protection, the shift of trade policies,
and persistent political conditions in huge markets. This will help make a beneficial environment for the
business with fewer IP restrictions by which we can expect its Marvel movies and products related to it in
numerous markets.

ECONOMIC FACTOR- Walt Disney relies on many external factors as an example. The info shows
that the U.S. market gives many of the company’s amusement parks and resorts earnings. Other factors that
lead the company's achievement are focused on developing markets and their fast economic development.
SOCIAL FACTOR- The social factors which immensely affect the Walt Disney company are the
customers’ and employees’ behaviors. Consumers’ behaviors are importantly shown towards their
products like movies, television channels, video games, and even amusement parks. The Company
needs to create ways to manage their behaviors and work in compliance with their expectations. On an
international level, feedback is required for them to function.

TECHNOLOGICAL FACTOR- component accounts for the Walt Disney Company's technologies
and enormous use in the mass media and entertainment industry. These are also applied in their
amusement parks and resorts. So the digital technologies play an essential role in producing films and
becoming a part of the international industry. The fast advancement in the mass media and
entertainment industries is shown by the top research and development rate like Disney has
demonstrated an increase in their use of modern computer-generated imaging to give better and
competitive products
ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS-These factors are listed as the importance of ecological factors in
showing the reliance of the businesses. The global industry environment worries are significant to the Walt
Disney Company. The resource availability and the inconstant changing of climatic weather are becoming
a crucial cause of concern for the company

LEGAL FACTORS- The rules and regulations that concern the working of the Walt Disney Company
are extremely concealed in these factors. The company’s manager must instruct these rules to assure the
smooth flow of working of the company. The American and European regulations in the mass media and
the entertainment industries are the tactical influences for the rules to be followed by the Walt Disney
Company. Some of the limits and laws indicated are the environment protection law, which has a
meaningful role in this company since it deals with resorts and themed parks.

In conclusion, every business in this world had gone through its


ups and downs, no matter how small or big the company is.
