GOLD LOAN

 Gold loans are taken against the gold owned by the borrowers. Here, gold acts as a security for the
lender whereby the borrower can pledge the gold with the lender and avail of money from them.
 All the individuals who are true owners of gold jewellery or ornaments or specially minted gold coins
that are sold by the banks.
 Facilities: Overdraft, demand loans or EMI.
 The loan can be availed for any purpose other than speculation.
 The maximum amount of loan: Rs. 25 lakhs.
 Type of Facility: Demand loan or cash credit.
 Tenure: 12 months. In the case of the EMI scheme, the loan tenure can be maximum of 36 months.
 Starting from 9.75% per annum.
HOME LOAN

 These are the most common types of secured loans availed of by borrowers. As
the name suggests, home loans are taken for the purchase or construction of a
home by the borrower.
 Must be either a resident of India or a non-resident holding an Indian passport or
a Person of Indian Origin (PIO) having a foreign passport or Overseas Citizen of
India (OCI).
 Starting from 8.25% per annum.
 Maximum Loan Tenure: 30 years.
PERSONAL LOAN

 These are one of the most sought-after bank loans in India. Personal loans are
loans extended by banks or financial institutions without any collateral security. It
is essentially a loan against the income of the borrower.
 Employees with a continuous service of 1 year, insurance agents doing business
for a minimum period of 2 years, self-employed professionals with a minimum 1-
year stable business, self-employed business persons.
 No co-applicant is allowed.
 The maximum age should be 60 years in case of salaried people and 65 years in
case of non-salaried people.
 Starting from 10.25% per annum.
BARODA MORTGAGE LOAN

 Can be availed of by both resident and non-resident individuals.


 The minimum gross annual income should be Rs. 3 lakhs in case of resident individuals
and Rs. 5 lakhs in case of non-resident individuals.
 Purpose: A loan can be taken for the purchase of commercial properties except for
speculation purposes.
 In case of non-individual entities opting for Baroda mortgage loans, a co-applicant or a
guarantor should be there who should be the following person:
• For partnership firms: All the partners of the partnership firms.
• For companies: Promoter directors and shareholders having shareholding of 20% or above.
 Starting from 10.20% per annum.
