What is Integrity?

• Uncompromising adherence to moral and ethical principle.


• Or simply,
• Lapse in integrity endanger the reputation of
the company.
• The standard of integrity is set by its leaders.
Integrity Gap

• Integrity gap is the distance between the gap of the values we


preach and how actually we live.
• Every sizeable organization in the world has some or the other sort
of integrity gap,
1. Abusive Language
2. Overly aggressive practices
3. Conflict of interst

EY Survey

• In a survey done by EY, it was found that


managers in Switzerland approved of giving wrong
financial information.
• Whereas in Asian countries like Vietnam and
Indonesia, more than 1/4th of managers were
willing to engage in such deception.
Survey to identify Gaps

• Once it is acknowledged that there is a gap,


• Randomly giving employees surveys of getting
ground level data can help identify the problem
that leaders were missing.
• The survey mainly consist of three questions to
find integrity in the organization.
Q1. Parameters which effect the integrity of the
organization?

• Conflicts of interest
• Sexual harassment
• Bribes or inappropriate gifts

• Antitrust violations
• Theft
• These parameters will vary with there business models and risks.

• They also emphasized that aim of improving the process to ensure that
people knew their inputs was values and respected in the organization
Conclusion

• Many business owners make their companies' dedication to ethics


known and encourage their staff to speak out when they notice
something suspicious.
• However, the most effective leaders don't just rely on these
assertions.
• Data that enables leaders to foresee potential gaps is a crucial
tool for avoiding issues that could put their businesses in the news
the next day.
