DEFINITION
What is a Raid?
It’s a quick attk within an en posn to accomplish
a specific msn, with no intention of holding
ground

Raids may be conducted by a force of any


size ranging from a Pl to a Bn
PURPOSE
To capture prisoners or to gain info
To capture or destroy specific en facilities
To seize or destroy a particular objective
To harass, deceive or disrupt the en in a
particular area to draw attention away from
other ops
