Material Recycling process

Processing: The materials are transported by the collector to a

processing facility, such as a materials recovery facility or paper
processor. At the processing facility, the recyclables are sorted,
cleaned of contaminants, and prepared for transport to a milling
facility or directly to a manufacturing facility.
Environmental Impact By Recycling

By reducing air and water pollution and saving

energy, recycling offers an important
environmental benefit: it reduces emissions of
greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide,
methane, nitrous oxide and chlorofluorocarbons,
that contribute to global climate change.
Importance Of Recycling Plastic

The more we recycle, the less garbage winds up in

our landfills and incineration plants. By reusing
aluminum, paper, glass, plastics, and other
materials, we can save production and energy costs,
and reduce the negative impacts that the extraction
and processing of virgin materials has on the
environment.
Importance Of Recycling Metal

Recycling metals is a more economically and

environmentally viable way to obtain and use
metals as it uses less energy than metal production.
In addition, metal can withstand continual
recycling without losing quality, making it a
popular area for companies to survey when
conducting an environmental waste audit.
