Wildlife in Chhattisgarh
Chhattisgarh is a state in India located in the centre of the country. The state has a
vast forest and wildlife area, and it is home to many endangered species. The state
has the highest number of tigers, leopards, rhinos, and elephants in the country.
The Chhattisgarh Wildlife Sanctuary is one place where you can find all these
amazing species. Chhattisgarh is a state in India home to over 2000 species of
plants & animals. The state has two national parks: Satpura National Park and
Kanger Valley National Park. Apart from these, there are also three Chhattisgarh
wildlife sanctuaries.

Achanakmar Wildlife Sanctuary

as a habitat for some of the rarest species in India.
Barnawapara Wildlife Sanctuary
Barnawapara Chhattisgarh Wildlife Sanctuary is a small wildlife sanctuary Spread over an
area of 245 sq. km. It is located in the Mahasamund district. Located in north Chhattisgarh,
it is one of the prominent tourist spots in central India. Having a dense grassland and
bamboo-dominated forest area near Mahasamund town, it covers various types of flora and
fauna from all over the country.
As the name suggests, this park is regarded as one of the most distinct and
protected National Parks in Chhattisgarh. Guru Ghasi Das (Sanjay) National Park
is situated in the Koriya district. It consists of approx 294 km from Raipur.
INDRAVATI(KUTRU)NATIONAL PARK
The Kanger Ghati National Park is probably the most amazing and gorgeous
tourist spot ever discovered in our country. Its beauty lies in its untapped
potential. It comprises Distance approx 304.8 km from Raipur. The place is a
perfect place for peace seekers and nature lovers.

Chhattisgarh is a state in the centre of India and is probably best known for
forested hills & Chhattisgarh Wildlife. The only state to share borders with seven
states in all directions, Chhattisgarh is located in central India. With its rich forests
and natural resources, it hosts a range of animals including tigers, Asian elephants,
and leopards. Chhattisgarh is a must-visit state. There are many wildlife
sanctuaries and national parks in the state. Thus, the state provides a splendid
