What is an adjective?

Adjective: An adjective is a word that give information about a noun or pronoun.


An adjective modifies a noun or pronoun. Modify here means to change
the noun or pronoun by giving more information about it.

Example: 01. There are two big black military Jeeps on display in this showroom.
These adjectives answer questions like, How many?
What size? What color? What purpose? etc.

02. The coffee was hot and testy.

Mainly, we can divide the adjective into two parts.

big, This, That, These, Those,
small, What, Which, Whose,
tall, Quantity
short, Articles- a/ an/ the

red etc.

How to use as an adjective in a sentence? Based on this, the adjective can again be divided into two part.
1. Attributive Adjective.
2. Predicative Adjective.

Example: The crow looks Ugly. Predicative Adjective.
