● RNA transport control : Karena pembuatan m-RNA terjadi di nukleus, pada saat proses ini m-
RNA yang membawa informasi genetic diekspor / ditranspor melalui pori-pori nukleus dan
diarahkan ke sitosol untuk sistesis protein. Sitosol merupakan bagian dari sitoplasma.

● Translasi : dengan bantuan t-RNA kanan yang sudah membawa asam amino yang sesuai, lalu
berpasangan dengan kode m-RNA yang sesuai dan di bawa ke ribosom. Setelah itu, ikatan t-RNA
dan m-RNA diterjemahkan oleh r-RNA (RNA ribosom) di ribosom untuk menjadi rantai
polipeptida yang sedang tumbuh menjadi protein.

● Pasca translasi : Beberapa protein akan mengalami modifikasi lebih lanjut setelah sintesis.
Modifikasi ini mungkin termasuk penambahan kelompok kimia, lipida, atau gula, yang dapat
mengubah aktivitas atau lokasi protein
