Hadis mutawatir adalah hadis yang diperoleh dengan cara di indra
(melalui pendengaran atau disaksikan atau musyahadah) dan
disampaikan oleh orang banyak yang semuanya memiliki popularitas
yang tinggi sehingga menurut kebiasaan mereka mustahil bersepakat
untuk melakukan kebohongan secara berjamaah.
