The Tondero
The Tondero is a typical love
dance from Morropón.
The woman wears a black
skirt, a colorful blouse and
two braids.
The man wears a white shirt,
a rolled-up black pants and a
big hat.
In The Tondero, the grace and
elegance express the richness
of Piura’s cultural traditions,
the mates, chicha,
saddlebags, filigree and hats.
