Jesus replied:

“‘Love the Lord your God

with all your heart and with all your soul and
with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and
greatest commandment. 39 And the second is
like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.

Matthew 22:37-39
“You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for
13

that is what I am. 14 Now that I, your Lord and Teacher,

have washed your feet, you also should wash one
another’s feet. 15 I have set you an example that you
should do as I have done for you. 16 Very truly I tell you,
no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger
greater than the one who sent him. 17 Now that you know
these things, you will be blessed if you do them.

John 13:13-17
Therefore go and make disciples of all

nations, baptizing them in the name of the

Father and of the Son and of the Holy
Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything
I have commanded you. And surely I am with
you always, to the very end of the age.”

You shall be in charge of my palace, and

Genesis 41:40
53
The seven years of abundance in Egypt came to an end, 54 and the seven
years of famine began, just as Joseph had said. There was famine in all the
other lands, but in the whole land of Egypt there was food. 55 When all
Egypt began to feel the famine, the people cried to Pharaoh for food. Then
Pharaoh told all the Egyptians, “Go to Joseph and do what he tells you.”
56
When the famine had spread over the whole country, Joseph opened all
the storehouses and sold grain to the Egyptians, for the famine was severe
throughout Egypt. 57 And all the world came to Egypt to buy grain from
Joseph, because the famine was severe everywhere.

Genesis 41:53-57
We all have been equipped with
purpose, whether seemingly big or
small, but always as equally important
The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up
12

one whole body. So, it is with the body of Christ. 13 Some of us

are Jews, some are Gentiles,[a] some are slaves, and some are
free. But we have all been baptized into one body by one Spirit,
and we all share the same Spirit…

All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part
27

of it.
