DEMONSTRATION QUESTION – 1
A square pyramid having base diagonal 60 mm and height 80 mm is resting on one of its base
corners on the ground such that the axis is inclined at 45° clockwise to the ground. Draw
projections of solid if the axis is parallel to the VP. (1 grid space=10 mm).
DEMONSTRATION QUESTION – 1
Draw the projection of a right circular cone of base diameter 50mm and altitude 60mm when it
lies on its curved surface on HP with the TV of axis making an angle of 45° with VP.
PRACTICE QUESTION – 1
A cone of base 80 mm diameter and height 100 mm lies with one of its generators on HP and
the axis appears to be inclined to VP at an angle of 40° CCW to VP in the top view. Draw its top
and front views such that the apex of the final projection is closer to VP. (1 grid space=5 mm)
