1 Change of Passport Information

1.1 Apply to Change Passport Information
Apply > Change Passport Information

1) Enter your Name in English, Date of Birth, Visa number, current Passport
number and click ‘Register’.
2) Pop-up window (2) appears for invalid or expired visa, when ‘Register’.
3) Pop-up window (3) appears if no application to change passport information
has been made, when ‘Search’.

1 Change of Passport Information

1.1 Apply to Change Passport Information
Apply > Change Passport Information

1) If ‘valid visa’, the page 4moves to ‘Current Visa Details and Information
to Report’.
2) Fill in New Passport Number, New Passport’s Date of Expiry, Mobile Phone
Number, Telephone Number and e-Mail address.
3) Scan and attach personal information page of both old and new passport.
4) Click ‘Register’ to complete an application to diplomatic mission.
※ Report by in-person visit to diplomatic mission is required in case of lost
passport.

1.2 Change of Passport Information Status Check
Apply > Change Passport Information

1) To check current status of Change of Passport Information, enter your Name

in English, Date of Birth, Visa number, current passport number and
click‘Search’.
2) In case of application, supplementation and review completion (Non-ap-
proval) status. processing status can be checked on the detailed informa-
tion page.
3) In case of review completion (Approval),‘Search’ at Change of Passport
Information page is not available and need to visit the KOREA VISA PORTAL
website (Check Application Status & Print), enter Name in English, New
Passport Number and Date of Birth to print out ‘visa grant notice’.

1.2 Change of Passport Information Status Check
Apply > Change Passport Information

1) If ‘supplementation request’, check the reasons for supplementation, mod-

ify the relevant information and click ‘Modify’ to complete supplementa-
2 tion.

2) ‘If ‘Non-approval’, reasons are given as to the non-approval, and Change

of Passport Information for the visa can not proceed.

1.3 Print out Change in Passport Information

1) If ‘Approval’, go to Check Application Status & Print, select ‘Diplo-
matic office’, enter your Name in English, New Passport Number, Date of
Birth, and click ‘Search’ to find Certificate for Visa Grant Notice on
page bottom.
2) Print out Visa Grant Notice with new passport information indicated.
※‘Search’ does NOT proceed with old passport information once Change of
Passport Information has been approved.
