INSTURAMENTAL

• performed on instruments, with no vocals.


• a piece of (usually nonclassical) music performed
by instruments.
• is simply music that doesn’t contain any words or
vocals.
VOCAL
• Vocal music is a type of singing performed by one or
more singers, either with instrumental accompaniment
or without instrumental accompaniment (a cappella)

• typically features sung words called lyrics.


SOLO
• In music, a solo is a piece or a section of a
piece played or sung featuring a single
performer, who may be performing
completely alone.
DUET
• A duet is a musical composition for two performers in
which the performers have equal importance to the
piece, often a composition involving two singers or two
pianists.
• A musical ensemble with more than two solo
instruments or voices is called trio, quartet, quintet, etc.
CHORALE
• a musical composition (or part of one)
consisting of or resembling a harmonized
version of a simple, stately hymn tune.

• a choir or choral society.
