    This project plan involves implementing emotion detection using conventional machine learning techniques in September. The plan is to retrieve standard datasets, create and train machine learning models, test and validate the models, deploy the best performing model, and evaluate its robustness on low resolution, noisy, and various lighting conditions. In August, YOLOv5 will be implemented for object detection, and in September lidar data will be used for additional object detection work, which will later be fused with camera data. Training is also needed for an Nvidia Jetson device and Linux commands to support machine learning and deep learning model deployment. Additionally, a model for driver drowsiness detection is currently in progress.
