What is the Signalman?

 A famous story by Charles Dickens which talks about a narrator

who is planning on staying somewhere for sometime, he asks his
hotel porter if he could recommend a walk so he talks about
strange happenings down the tunnel.
The narrator has heard of it in an news paper so he decides to go
there, he found himself at a railway tunnel in which he saw a
signalman with a flag. The signalman acts weird at first but
eventually they become good friends and one day the signalman
tells the man about a man who stands on the track and waves
his arms and never speaks and right after seeing him a tragic
event occurs. The man goes to the signalman the next day and
found out he died. He is devastated and never found out the
answer to these tragic events.
Genre

This story is about a person who is seeing the future

in a very indirect way. This causes him to be
pressurized and wants to help him self and others so
he tries to stop the train many times so the figure he
sees at the end of the tunnel goes away but an
incident always happens. With this sort of future
seeing powers this story is clearly “ FICTION”.
THEME

Responsibility. A major theme in ''The Signal-Man''

is responsibility. The signalman is haunted not only
by his own future ghost but by his duty to protect
train passengers, conductors, and other crewmen on
his line.
MAJOR PLOT TWISTS hyyyyyyyyyyyyy

has recovered from the shock, the figure had his head down
and when the train was stopped terrible screams came from

the tunnel it was too late and he himself was now hit by the
