Understanding ACCIDENTS
DEFINITION
An occurrence or event that is
unexpected, unforeseen, unplanned, and
unwanted. This leads to damage, injury,
loss, or death.
Accidents are caused. They don’t just
happen.
HAZARD + EXPOSURE = ACCIDENT/
