Fayol's work was one of the first comprehensive statements
of a general theory of management .He proposed that there
were,
six types of organisational activity, including management
as one of these,
five primary functions of management and,
fourteen principles of management.

should be reasonable security of job.
Initiative
Manager should encourage their subordinate to take
initiative, within the limits of authority and discipline.
