1. Introduction

i. Activity objective

• This is a bi-annual 4G quality of service performance test in order to

assess the 4G-LTE data service quality as up to date.

• This drive test gives a general overview about 4G-LTE network coverage
status in Kigali and other provinces around the country.

• Displays also end to end quality of service from subscriber point of view.

• All phones used to collect data run TEMS Pocket as
measurement tool.

• On outside Kigali, only major country roads have
been driven.
• The table shows an approximate drive test duration
and distance covered.
• Tested was only 4G-LTE technology country wide.

In below tables is an overview on QoS in provinces.
Coverage, quality KPIs and CSFB for two MNOs (MTN & Tigo) are shown .
CSFB success rate is low in provinces, a thorough diagnostic CSFB test analysis is planned early
next year and respective MNOs will be notified accordingly.
