PIR PANEL

&
Polyurethane
Panel

BRIEF COMPARISON ON THEIR

FIRE RESISTANCE PROPERTIES.
THE MATERIALS : Polyurethane FOAM
• Polyurethane foams have the primary components ,
Polyol and isocyanate mixed in the ratio of 100 : 120.
• Polyurethane core panels are Fire retardant and grade B 3.
• The panels can be formed in various thicknesses, starting
from 50mm to a maximum of 150mm.
• Density of the foam can be 40 (±2) kg/m3.
• CAN
PRODUCE ON DC AND CONTINUOUS LINE.
• FOR
CUSTOMISED PANELS IT CAN BE WELL CONTROL.
PROPERTIES OF POLYURETHANE FOAM
Thermal Conductivity : 0.024 W/m degree Kelvin

FOAM Density : 40 (±2) kg/m3.

Fire Properties : Self extinguishing and fire retardant as per DIN 4102 Part-1

Thermal Tranmittance : 0.26 W/m2 °C

Dimensional stability at 100 Degree Celcius for 24 hrs % : Less than 2 %

Fire Property of PIR : B3

THE MATERIALS : PIR FOAM
• PIR : Polyisocyanurate foams have the primary
components , Polyisocynurate and isocyanate mixed in the
ratio of 100 : 150 need to produce at high temperature.
• PIR core panels are resistant to fire and emits less heat and
smoke.
• The panels can be formed in various thicknesses, starting
from 50mm to a maximum of 150mm.
• Density of the foam can be 40 (±2) kg/m3.
• Fire Property B2
THE MATERIALS : PIR FOAM vs PU Foam
• PIR : Polyisocyanurate foams mostly produced on
continuous line .
• Polyurethane foam is stable and can be produced on DC
line which can be used to produce customized panel.
