 INTRODUCTION

Nowadays database is a widespread and often used information

gathering, preservation, dissemination of data, tool. Database is
used not only for personal purposes such as studies, but also in
various corporation activities. So, it’s crucial to definite what we call
a database, learn about its types, management, safety and how to use
a particular database (EBSCO host, Taylor & Francis).
 DATABASE

A database is a collection of information that is organized so that it can

be easily accessed, managed and updated.

Database management system is a computer system for organizing

and using the information stored in a database.

 CONCLUSIONS

1. Database is a source of information, distributed in content and

place aspects, which needs management and has security
problems sometimes.
2. EBSCO host database has a wide selection of journals, but it’s
accessible only with institutional login.
3. Taylor & Francis database can be used with account or without
it (a smaller amount of articles only can be reached) and gives
possibility to put your article in it.
