What is Malnutrition?
Malnutrition as “the cellular imbalance between
the supply of nutrients and energy and the
body’s demand for them to ensure growth,
maintenance, and specific functions”

Types of Malnutrition
Under Nutrition – resulting from inadequate
consumption or excessive loss of nutrients
Over Nutrition – resulting from overeating or
excessive intake of specific nutrients
