An adjective is a word you use to

describe a person, place, or thing. An
adjective modifies nouns or pronouns.

• Examples:
David is short but his dad is tall.
My basketball ball is big but my sister’s
baseball is small.

Some adejctives are opposites and we

use to express different meaning.
Thin – Fat old - young
Slow – Fast cheap - expensive 2
Beautiful – Ugly
 lazy – hard-working
My cousin Juan is very lazy but his sister is hard-working.
