• Unfair trade practices refer to the use of various deceptive, fraudulent,
or unethical methods to obtain business
• These are the various unfair trade practices :
Misrepresentation.
False Advertising.
False free prize or gift offers.
Deceptive pricing.
MISREPRESENTATION
• Falsely suggest that goods are of a particular standard quality,
quantity, grade or composition.
• Gives warranty or guarantee of the performance, which is not based on
a proper test.
FALSE ADVERTISING
• Advertising statements that are deceptive, misleading, or outright
false, about a product or service being offered.
FALSE FREE PRIZES AND GIFT OFFERS

• Offering any free prizes and gift offers when the real intention is
different.
