What is it?

 It is a fun competition in Computer Science. The competition involves solving problems using computational
thinking skills.
 The contest is completed online in schools and supervised by teachers.
 Challenges range in difficulty (6 A grade, 6 B grade, 6 C grade)
 You start with 38 points. There is a maximum score is 200 available.
 Students are not expected to finish!
 Any calculator permitted
What's the scoring?

 The problems are grouped into three categories (A, B and C) which are of increasing difficulty:

What do I win

 This is an international competition running in approximately 30 countries. You will get a certificate with your score
 Top achievers will obtain a certificate of distinction & praise points
 There is a certificate for best in school in each age category & praise points
 There will be the chance to win a place in the Hall of Fame for the top students in the four top age categories & praise points
 The top 10% of students in age groups will be invited to enter the TCS Oxford Computing Challenge in March.
 The top achieving students will be invited to attend a final round and celebration in the new year. This will take place in at Oxford
University.
