COURSE DESCRIPTION
GAC 023, Science III: General Science, builds on the principles covered in GAC 013, Science II.
It is recommended that you review the content that you have already covered in the GAC 013 Student
Manual.

In this course we will learn about modern-day scientific discoveries

and how they have been applied in our societies. I will teach you
about the following subjects:
• Chemistry
• Biology
• Physical Science
• Environmental Science

We will give special attention to

Environmental Science this year, as we will
discover how it relates to our local
Environments.

FIELD TRIPS – MODULE 023
We will go on 2 field trips to the local environment near Kunshan later this year, to give you a more practical understanding
of the ideas that we will discuss in class. I will give you more information about this later in the year.
End of the school year – Assessment Event 2: Local Environmental Survey Report  25% of your mark for this module!
