Conclusions

• Production of cement clinker with 50 wt% BR is


feasible.

• Further studies are necessary to understand the


influence of minor elements in the clinker and
hydrated phases.
– Mechanical properties are promising.

• Performance of Fe-rich cements can be optimized


with the use of additives and optimization tools.
