Cost & Benefit Analysis

1. If viewed as a corporate investment asset, the standard or
availability of data center facilities is different from industrial
equipment or machines.
2. For Capital Expenditures (CAPEX), The plan to add a
server device may implement the forecast of Break Event
Point (BEP) or Return of Investment (ROI), while the Data
Center facility is compiled based on the perspective of cost
of down time due to accidental data centers such as lost
revenue.
3. For Operational Expenditures (OPEX), Cooling is a bigger
contributor to Data Center facilities, in other words a
contributor to bad Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE)
