PROCEDURE TEXT IS...

a kind of text that shows a series of

orders of making something, doing
something, or getting somewhere.
 PURPOSE
to describe something is accomplished through a
sequence of actions or steps.

GENERIC STRUCTURE GRAMMATICAL FEATURES

• Goal (showing the purpose)
• Materials (telling the needed
materials)
• Steps (describing the steps to
achieve the purpose)
• Imperative (using action verbs)
• Using temporal sequences
• Using spesific words (technical
term)
