And Section 300 Murder for contract Killings. • Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 (UAPA) deals with unlawful activities, including activities related to organized crime, terrorism. • The Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act (MCOCA), 1999: MCOCA is a state-level law enacted in Maharashtra to combat organized crime • Section 324 of the IPC states that when a person is voluntarily hurt using a dangerous weapon or means, the act comes under the purview of voluntarily causing hurt . • In Anwarul Haq v. State of Uttar Pradesh, AIR 2005 SC (2383) Court Held that the conviction of a person who intentionally inflicts harm using various means, including instruments designed for violence, fire, poison, or ingestibles, and even animals.
