Peruvian’s economy is an emerging
economy that has been making progress
in economic growth and poverty reduction
in the two decades prior to the covid-19
pandemic (world bank.)

• Peru has 33 million people in the territory of
1,285,216 km2
• In 2022 its GDP was US$ 2040 to US$ 7126 billion
US dollars in 2002.
• In 2022 economic growth rate GDP was 2.7%
• In the last two decades it has beenone of the fastest
growing economy in Latin America
• The main economic activity is exportation of
agricultural goods, mainly mining.
• Exports increased from 6.8 billion dollars in 2000 to
63.2 billion in 2022
