Rain is the important source of

water. Many people are
dependent on the rain for many
purposes. For instace irrigation,
drinking purpose and many more.
It is also responsible to also fulfill
the other sources.
River

River is also a very common

freshwater source in India. Many
people depend on the river to
fulfill there needs. Rivers like
Ganga,Yamuna and Narmada flow
from the melted water from the
glaciers present at higher levels,
our nearest river is Narmada.
Well

Well is a source of water which

runs on the ground water. It is
mostly found in villages. People
also make the wells for personal
use.
Lakes and Ponds

Lakes and Ponds contain

freshwater came from water from
the rain. They are also a home to
marine aquatic animals.
