Company Background
PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk is a company based in Indonesia which
is primarily engaged in the production of packaged instant noodles. The
company also operates in the packaging business as a supporting division,
offering flexible and corrugated packaging. In the last two decades, Indofood
has transformed into a total food solutions company with operational
activities covering all stages of the food production process, starting from
the production and processing of raw materials to the final product available
on the market. Now Indofood is known as an established and leading
company in every business category. In carrying out its operational activities,
Indofood benefits from economies of scale and the resilience of its business
model which consists of four strategic business groups ("Groups") which
complement each other as follows:
. Consumer Branded Products (“CBP”)
Supported by the strength of its product brands, the CBP group produces a variety of
branded consumer products including instant noodles, dairy, snacks, food flavors, nutritional
and specialty foods, and beverages.
. Bogasari
The Bogasari Group has main business activities producing wheat flour and pasta, supported
by shipping and packaging business units.
. Agribusiness
The Agribusiness Group's main business activities include research and development, seed
breeding, palm oil cultivation and processing to the production and marketing of cooking oil,
margarine and shortening products. In addition, the Group's business activities also include
the cultivation and processing of rubber and sugar cane and other crops.
. Distribution
With the most extensive distribution network in Indonesia, the Distribution Group
distributes most of the consumer products of Indofood and its subsidiaries, as well as
various third party products.

 PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur tbk Business Process SOP. are as follows :
1. PT Indofood has a plantation that collaborates with farmers to manage agricultural
or plantation products which will be used as raw materials to produce various
products.
2. The results from agriculture or plantations are then processed into raw materials that
are ready to be produced at the Indofood factory, so that they become finished
products that are ready to be marketed.
3. At the Indofood factory, all raw materials are processed as best as possible to
produce high quality products. At the Indofood factory there are not only production
activities, but also research activities which function to control the compositions used
by taking random samples and examining them in a laboratory room to ensure that the

4. Packaging is carried out in the factory, where all raw materials that have been processed
and become finished products are then sorted into the packaging room.
5. Distribution is the main component in PT Indofood's operational activities as a Total
Food Solutions company. PT Indofood does not have a storage warehouse in its factory.
Every eight hours, the packaged finished products are directly distributed to retail outlets
or traditional markets. Through its extensive network, PT Indofood guarantees product
distribution to regions is carried out well and in the shortest time possible.
6. In the final stage, the products that have been distributed from the factory are now
available in retail outlets and traditional markets in each region. Buying and selling
transactions can easily occur, because the distribution system is extensive, making it easier
