 ASHABUL-KAHFI, YOUTH WHO ARE DEFINITELY MAINTAINING FAITH
In a statement it was stated
In Surat al-Kahf, Allah
that they embraced the
Almighty conveyed one of the
religion of the Prophet ‘Isa bin
past life stories
Maryam.

ASHABUL-KAHFI

Al-Kahf, meaning a cave on

the mountain, and became a
place of escape for these
young people.
• Allah Almighty reported that they
were young men who fled.

• When they entered the cave, they

prayed to Allah.

• The young men only believe in

Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala alone,
unlike their people.
• As the word of Allah, Subhanahu wa Ta'ala,
which means, "And Allah will add instructions to those
who have received instructions. [Maryam / 19: 76]. [5]

• Steadiness and
determination for them is
needed.

• The young men wanted

to show an argument,
why did they isolate
themselves from their
people.
 In such conditions, if a slander arises that threatens one's
religion, then it is suggested for someone to get rid of
themselves for the sake of religious safety.

‫وإذ اعتزلتموهم وما يعبدون إال هللا فأووا إلى الكهف ينشر لكم ربكم من رحمته ويهيئ‬
‫لكم من أمركم مرفقا‬
[Al-Kahfi / 18: 16]

It is not denied, that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala has poured out

some of His mercy and facilitated their affairs with direct
instructions in their affairs.
• His power before beings. Even the place to sleep, is in high
maintenance

• They are in the vast place of the cave. This situation, so that air and
air currents hit them, and the bad air content can come out.

• In this story implied a warning, that we should not ask for guidance
except only to Allah.

• God azza wa jalla preserves their body

The dogs that accompany the Ashhabul Kahfi, are asleep as they were on guard. The
dog gave his arms to the front door of the cave.
As for their care from the human community, Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala reported
that they were guarded with fear that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala spread. If anyone
saw them, surely his heart would be filled with fear and run away helter-skelter.
 STUDY OF THIS STORY
The person who saved his religion from slander, surely Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala will
save him. Someone who is serious about seeking salvation, surely Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala
will save him. Someone who takes refuge in Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, Allah will surely
protect him and make it a source of guidance for others. Whoever reap the humiliation in the
way of Allah, Subhanahu wa Ta'ala and in seeking His pleasure, surely the end of his affairs is
the great glory of the direction he did not expect. And what is on the side of Allah is better for
those who obey.
