The line graph gives information about the amount of money spent on automobiles in four Asian nations from 2005 to 2015.
Overall, the spending in all countries increased, and China’s spending was highest among the four countries over the recorded
period. The most dramatic increase can be seen in Indonesia.
In 2005, the expenditure on cars of China was 80 million dollars, compared to Vietnam with only 55 million, Thailand with less
than 50 million, and Indonesia with about 30 million. In the next 4 years, China’s spending rose moderately to around 90
million, before decrease slightly by about 5 million, and then there was a dramatic growth to approximately 95 million at the
end of the period. Meanwhile, there was a steady increase in Vietnam’s spending from around 55 million to 75 million.
In terms of Thailand, there was a fluctuation with an upward trend until 2013, with almost 60 million dollars, and then it went
up significantly by 12 million in the last two years. Similarly, Indonesia’s expenditure rose moderately to 40 million in 2011,
before there was a sharp increase to more than 60 million in 2015.
