Introduction

 Family Guy is a animated sitcom

created by Seth MacFarlane for
the Fox Broadcasting Company.
 The show was inspired by Larry
and Steve.
 It’s first episode originally aired
in 1998, being a massive success,
gaining more than 22 million
views in it’s first season.
Plot

 The show center around the

Griffin family: Peter, Lois, Chris,
Meg, Stewie and Brian.
 The episodes usually have two
different stories being told at the
same time.
 The stories are independent of
each other, being separated by
the use of cutaway gags.

 The show exhibits most of its

humor in the form of
metaphorical cutaway gags.
 These often reference recent
important events or American
culture.
 They are usually used to switch
between the various stories.
Conclusion

 The show is very good, but it

sometimes uses dark/adult humor,
so I don’t recommend it for
everybody.
