What is Virus and Malware?
Viruses and malware are softwares or pieces of
code used in order to destroy, corrupt or
damage computer or data files. These are
usually transmitted through things like
downloads, unprotected internet, email
attachments, and USB/Flash drives. They
replicate themselves similar to biological
viruses.
THE INFLICTED
Who is impacted by Virus and Malware Transmission?
THREE IDEAS

Government
People
Businesses
Transmission of virus and malware can affect anybody who has access to a computer or electronic device. This
means individual/personal systems, business/organization systems and even government systems. Many people
and organizations lose valuable information, disrupting the daily operations that provide income for the
business. The loss of sensitive information can be used against a person to force them to perform malicious or
self-reducing action. If malware intrudes government systems, the entire population can be negatively affected.
