Robert Frost
SUMMARY
o This poem is about choices. Through this poem,
the poet tries to tell us that, in life, no matter
what option we choose, we should accept our
decision and we should not regret about it later.
o The poem starts with the author standing on a
road which diverges into two. He stays and
thinks on which one he should take. Then he
takes the road that he feels was less travelled,
but in fact, both the roads where equally
travelled. So he concludes that the road doesn’t
really matter, but the choice does, as the path we
have chosen decides our future.
