for something like getting married (getting cold fest), or maybe you
need to think about it, you are having second thoughts about
getting married or doing something.
Also there are several expression about some feeling, like don’t
have enough money for buy something (Can’t afford), or when you
really want do it or buy something (Dying)
Also you other way to say relax (calm down), or in you hear (deep
down) and forever (for good)
WHAT EXPRESSIONS DID WE SEE IN
THE UNIT?
• Getting cold feet: If you're feeling nervous and unsure about giving a speech in front of a
big audience, you can say, "I'm getting cold feet about the speech.“
• For good: When someone says they are doing something "for good," it means they are
doing it in a way that will last indefinitely, without any intention of changing or stopping.
The use of these expressions can help you to expand your vocabulary.
When you learn different words that mean the same thing, you are doing a
good use of the paraphrasing and getting at the same time new words to
communicate what you are thinking in the moment.
