novel with the same name.

MAIN CHARACTERS
Teddy Daniels (Leonardo DiCaprio): Teddy Daniels is a
former U.S. soldier who fought in Europe during World War
2. Teddy saw a lot of traumatic scenes in Dachau
Concentration Camp. After World War 2, he returned to the
..mainland and became an U.S. Marshal

Chuck Aule (Mark Ruffalo): Chuck Aule is a former U.S.

soldier who fought in Europe during World War 2 same as
Teddy. After the war he returned to the mainland and became
an U.S. Marshal. He met with Teddy on the ship that took
them to Shutter Island. Chuck works with Teddy to solve a
mysterious case in Ashecliffe.
MAIN CHARACTERS
Dr. John Cawley (Ben Kingsley): Dr. John Cawley
is a psychiatrist and the manager of the Ashecliffe Insane
Asylum in Shutter Island. Throughout the film, Dr.
Cawley’s weird behavior attracted Teddy's attention. Teddy
thought Dr. Cawley was involved in the case.

Dolores Chanal (Michelles Williams): Dolores Chanal

was Teddy’s wife. She had died in a fire that occurred in
their house. After her death, Teddy started to see her in
dreams and hallucinations. Her death affected his life so
badly. Throughout the film, we can see how she is
affecting his life.
 PLOT
In 1954, the island called Shutter Island
witnessed a mysterious case. One female
patient who drowned her 3 children in a
lake escaped from the Ashecliffe Insane
Asylum without any evidence behind. Then
two U.S. Marshals were assigned to solve
the case. They came to the island and
realized that something was wrong.
