BODMAS

What is BODMAS in Math?

BODMAS is an acronym that helps you to remember the ‘order of operations’. That is,
it tells you in what order you should tackle different parts of a complex equation. It
stands for:
• Brackets
• Order
• Division
• Multiplication
• Addition
• Subtraction

How can I use this BODMAS PowerPoint?

You can use this BODMAS PowerPoint as an instruction guide to help children through their first encounters
with the order of operations. It includes fantastic illustrations and a clear layout, so they’re not going to be
confused or lose focus because of too many flashing things on the screen
