Summative Assessment

01 Concept:
Summative Assessment is usually in the form of measuring abilities
and summarizing what students already understand, the summary is
in the form of student notes on whether they have achieved the goal.

02 When:
Summative Assessment is applied at the end of the lesson, for
example, National Exam, and Final Test.
Formative Assessment
Concept:
Evaluating students is the process of building competencies and skills
with a purpose and helping students continue that growth process,
through an approach that supports students' special needs.

When:
Formative assessment is carried out while activities are in progress,
for example, quizzes, assignments, and presentations.
