alam:

Dalam pandangan Al-Quran, ada tiga saluran untuk mengetahui alam:

Dan Allah mengeluarkan kamu dari perut ibumu dalam keadaan tidak mengetahui apaapa, dan Dia
memberimu pendengaran,penglihatan,dan hati agar kamu bersyukur. (Q.S Al-Nahl) [16]:78)

Pemahaman diperoleh melalui mata,telinga,dan akal. Disini ,diantara indra-indra

lahiriah,hanya penglihatan dan pendengaran yang disebutkan,sebab keduanya
merupakan alat utama untuk memperoleh pengetahuan tentang dunia fisik. Akan
terjadi,ada ayatayat lain dalam Al-Quran yang menunjukann bahwa indra
pengecap,penciuman,dan peraba berguna dalam memberikan kepada kita
informasi yang berharga mengenai dunia luar. Di tempat lain, hati telah
disebutkan sebagai sarana pemahaman.

Al-Qur’an memandang indra
lahiriah sebagai alat primer
untuk memperoleh
pengetahuan mengenai dunia
luar.

Akan tetapi, ayat ayat Al Qur’an
02 terhadap persepsi indra tidak
disebutkan sebagai satu-satunya
sumber mengenal alam.
 “Dalam Al-Qur‟an, setiap kali fenomena alam disebutkan maka secara eksplisit
ditunjukkan bahwa penangkapan tanda-tanda tuhan di alam dan hubungannya dengan
Pemilik tanda-tanda tersebut berada dalam jangkauan manusia yang berakal, yang
mampu melakukan perenungan.”
Imam Ali mengatakan : Seorang pengamat itu adalah orang
yang merenungkan apa yang merenungkan apa yang telah
didengarnya, merenungkan apa yang telah dilihatnta, dan
menggunakan pengalaman belajarnya untuk menempuh jalan
yang jelas, yang didalamnya dia bias menghindar untuk tidak
terjerumus kedalam jurang atau sesat.
PERAN WAHYU DAN ILHAM DALAM MEMAHAMI ALAM
Dapat disimpulkan makna dari ayat ayat al-qur‟an bahwa guru sejati semua sains adalah Allah
Yang Maha tahu : Bacalah dengan (menyebut) nama Tuhanmu yang menciptakan. Dia telah
menciptakan manusia dari segumpal darah. Bacalah, dan Tuhanmulah yang paling Pemurah. Yang
mengajar manusia dengan perantara kalam. Dia mengajarkan kepada manusia apa yang belum
diketahuinya. (QS. Al-Alaq (96):1-5
Sesungguhnya sumber utama ilham bagi manusia adalah pemberian pengertahuan yang Maha Tau, yakni allah.
Tetapi derajat hubungan antara manusia dan sumber ini berbeda antara manusia yang satu dan manusia
lainnya. Sebagian orang berfikir tetapi tidak mencapai apa-apa, sementara sebagian orang lain menemukan
kebenaran melalui perenungan dan masih ada lagi orang-orang lainnya yang menjadi sadar akan banyak realitas
dengan hanya melakukan sedikit spekulasi.
