 Maintain/Improve/Restore forest.

 Simulate traditional land use- Avoid succession to forest as well as

intensification.

 Avoid use of pesticides in agricultural area.- Use of pesticides leads to

degradation of pollen quality and thus loss of many plant species.
 STEPS TO BE TAKEN

 Reduce water pollution- Water pollution leads to extinction of many plants

and animals

 Disposal of sewage waste, Industrial waste and household waste directly into
water bodies leads to death of many animals and plants.

 Steps to contain soil erosion and quality improvement of Soil must be taken.

RESULTS OF STEPS TAKEN IN PAST

 These all steps resulted in protection of native eco system, habitat protection
for snow leopard, musk deer and many other endangered animals who were
at the brim of extinction before the steps were taken.
