Introduction
On May 4,1988, there was a major explosion
at the PEPCON (Pacific Engineering and
Production Company of Nevada) plant in
Henderson, Nevada, United States.The
explosion was caused by a fire involving
highly reactive chemicals.As a result, there
was significant damage to the facility and
surrounding property.The following is an
analysis of the explosion work accident case
at PEPCON in the United States:

1.Cause of the Explosion:The
explosion occurred due to a
fire involving highly reactive
chemicals, such as ammonium
perchlorate and perchloric
acid.These conditions caused a
very strong exothermic
reaction,resulting in a large
explosion.

property.Not only that,it also
caused injuries to several
workers and nearby
residents.This impact highlights
