 ISU San Mariano is a recipient of 5 M ( Poultry Multiplier)
 Demand for Native Chicken is high
 Low maintenance and resilient
Objectives

Main Objective: To upgrade the existing stocks of poultry raisers in San


Mariano Isabela for profitable enterprise.

Specific Objectives:
To upgrade the existing stock of the farmers

To empower men and women in the field of poultry production

To increase the income of male and female by making native chicken as


sustainable enterprise

Result and Discussion
Objective 1: A total of 150 heads chicken were
upgraded. Growth performance of upgraded
chicken is good
Objective 2: There were 30 participants who were
empowered who were given starter kits ( 5 heads per
recipient) financed by D.A, LGU, and ISU San Mariano

finance other financial needs ( Students
allowance and needs)
 Reduces family budget on foods
 Rearing period for upgraded chicks was
reduced ( 6 months – 4 months)
