MEANINGS OF PLANNING
1. Planning is the process Of determination of a course
of actions To achieve the desired goals or objectives.
2. Planning requires anticipating The future and
consciously deciding What to do , how to do , when to
do and who to do It .
Why should you make a
plan ?
1- It helps you manage your time
2- It affects positively on your :
• satisfaction
• Sense of direction
• Future positive experiences
3- it gives you a peace of mind .
WHY PEOPLE DON’T PLAN ?

1. They consider it a waste of time : There are so many things to do,


and doing anything instead of planning seems way more
productive. But it’s not. Plan carefully, and then execute more
wisely.
2. People are not patient : We just want to jump right into the
execution part without the plan in hand.
3. We procrastinate : Some people are good at making plans but
procrastinate about implementing the plans. Others procrastinate
20% of university graduates did not engage in life planning
after graduation which means they are leaving their lives to
randomness and chances .
HOW TO PLAN ?
1. ) Set your goals and be specific :
2. You set your goals on a number of levels:
3. 1- First you create your “big picture” of what you want to do with
your life (or over, say, the next 10 years), and identify the large-scale
goals that you want to achieve.
4. 2- Then, you break these down into the smaller and smaller targets
that you must hit to reach your lifetime goals.
3- Finally, once you have your plan, you start working on it to achieve
these goals.

understanding that failure is not the opposite of
