What’s so special about

Autumn?
Dear Andy,

Hi, Andy! How are you today?

I feel great today because the weather is so nice outside.
The sky is blue and the wind is so cool.
Fall is my favorite season.
I love looking at colorful leaves.
I love breathing the cool, fresh air, too.
They say that fall is a perfect season to read books.
So I will read many books this fall.
My mom promised to buy me new books.
She will take me to a bookstore this weekend.
I will ask her to buy me many good books.
I’m sure reading good books will nurture my mind.
During fall, I often become sentimental.
Sometimes I even feel like a wanderer.
This is because my mind wanders during this season.
The other day, I felt sad all of a sudden while watching a
falling leaf.
I even shed some tears secretly.
Ah, maybe I’m too sentimental these days.
Hmm… I just got poetic intuitions.
I should write a poem now. Talk to you later!

Yeah, it’s fall and the weather is so nice.
I’m glad that the hot summer is finally over.
It’s pretty chilly in the morning and at night.
Fall is a wonderful season to enjoy many outdoor activities.
These days I play basketball with my friends outside almost
every day.
My mom wants me to read many books, too.
But I don’t want to stay inside in this beautiful season.
I want to spend a lot of time outside, enjoying the nice
weather.
Yesterday, my family held a barbeque party in our backyard.
We invited our neighbors and had a great time together.
We enjoyed delicious barbeque until late at night.
Next month, my family will travel to enjoy colorful fall leaves.
I’m already very excited!
Maybe I will try to write a poem, too.
I’m not literary talented at all, but I will give it a try.
Who knows? Maybe I’ll end up writing a beautiful poem!
