Strove to serve his lady in best wise,

PLOT
A chivalrous knight marries a fair maiden.
She promises to remain faithful to him when
he leaves for a two-year journey. While away,
a squire falls in love with the maiden, and
she promises to return the love if he can
complete an impossible task.
PLOT
When the maiden's husband returns, the
maiden is struck with grief when she finds
out the squire can complete the task using
magic. The knight tells her she must keep her
promise and go to the squire, but the squire
is surprised by his noble gesture; the maiden
is allowed to return to her husband.

 Averagus went home safety that


made Dorigen delightful again.
