ESSENTIAL QUESTION

WHY DOES JESUS CONSIDERED THE

SORROWFUL BLESSED?
People back then believes that there is purpose in every
pain you experienced, Especially when you lost
someone you treasures the most. God never wastes our
pain. In fact, there is blessing in our pain. Each one of
us has a story. Divorce, abuse, job loss, a broken
relationship, cancer, infertility, a terminal diagnosis.
Everyone experiences natural sorrow. God made us
with the capacity to cry but some people are just afraid
to cry. Remember that crying doesn’t mean that you are
weak, It means that you are strong. Don’t be afraid to
show your feelings, don’t be afraid to cry.
Praise be to the God and Father of
our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father
of compassion and the God of all
comfort, who comforts us in all
our troubles, so that we can
comfort those in any trouble with
the comfort we ourselves receive
from God.” The Greek word
translated “comforted” is also
used to describe the ministry of
the Holy Spirit.
Like kids run to their parents when they get
hurt, we can cry out to God for comfort. When
we sin, we can cry out to him for forgiveness.
We are the body of Christ, sent to represent Him.
Will you cry out to the God of all comfort today
and let Him forgive your sin and heal your
brokenness? Then, let Him use you to bring
healing and comfort to those around you.
THE
DOCTRINE

NOT EVERYONE WHO SUFFERS IS HOPELESS. THE ONES

CONSIDERED BLESSED IN THE EYES OF GOD ARE THOSE
WHO SUFFERS PATIENTLY ENDURING ALL PAINS AND
HOPING THAT EVERYTHING WILL TURN GOOD.. THEY
UNDERSTAND THE SINUFUL ROOT CAUSES OF THEIR
MYSERIES AND OFFERING IT FOR SOMETHING GOOD. IN
OTHER WORDS, THEY SUFFER WITH FAITH AND HOPE IN
THE RISEN LORD.
PROCESSING
QUESTION
1. WHY DOES PAIN AND SUFFERING DESTROY
THE HUMAN LIFE?

2. HOW CAN YOU CHANGE THE PAIN AND

SORROW INTO JOY?
THE
WORSHIP

Jesus' compassion and love to the deprived are overwhelming. The

followers of Jesus perpetuated the love of Jesus so that in our day,
compassion to the weak becomes the criterion in dealing with
conflicts. Let us praise and thank God for such a wonderful example
that extends in our midst today through the Church and her
missioners. And people also offer a prayer service for the suffering
people or even the person who dies.
THE
MORAL

In order for us to develop the attitude of suffering positively that

tell us understand the cause of our miseries and believe that we
are not alone in our sufferings. There is a God who always
accompanies us in our journey and He will graciously rewards
according to the degree of trust we gave Him. This faith and
hope in the God that cares is another source of extra strength in
the midst of difficulties.
moral of the lesson;
We need to learn that most of the time, it is okay to
forgive and not forget. Always remember that sometimes
you are responsible for your own healing. Don’t expect
people to be there for you, just because you’re always
there for them. Because not everyone has the same heart
as you. And for every sorrow we experienced always
remember that God comforts us to also comfort the
people who mourns.
